I thought this draft was a little overrated. I like Jared Odrick, but I really found Koa Misi and John Jerry to be overrated doe to their lack of athleticism. Nolan Carroll was a bit of a reach due to his injury issues and A.J. Edds probably doesn't have the athleticism to be worthy of a fifth round pick. Overall, this draft was kind of overrated.

I liked Jared Odrick. Odrick is an ideal fit for the 3-4 defensive end position, for he is an outstanding pass rusher for a defensive tackle and he is a very disruptive penetrator. He also has solid athleticism, good size, and good strength. But there are some character concerns for Odrick and he was never as productive of a run stopper at the college level.
Koa Misi

I find Misi to be very overrated because his athleticism is probably to poor to be much of a pass rushing linebacker in a 3-4 defense. I also thought it was a major issue that that Dolphins decided to draft Misi ahead of Sergio Kindle? Kindle is a much more athletic, productive prospect at the 3-4 outside linebacker position and overall I didn't really like the Dolphins selection of Misi.

I didn't see enough athleticism from Jerry to warrant this pick. Jerry is somewhat productive but, for such a huge player, he sure seems to lack strength and he has pretty poor athleticism. He also has below average toughness for such a big guy and he probably needs to lose some weight. Overall, Jerry was an overrated prospect and he wasn't great value for the Dolphins at pick 73.

Jones has below lateral athleticism, instincts, aggressiveness and awareness in coverage, but he was still solid value at pick 163. Jones has a pretty good combination of size and speed, he is a pretty willing run stopper, he has excellent hands, and he has been improving in coverage. Overall, a solid pick for the Dolphins, and good value at pick 163.
